The university established its first pediatric faculty which was the first in the world in 1930. In the year 1964, the world’s first faculty of biomedicine was opened in the university. The graduates from Russian National Research Medical University work in Russia, as well as in various other countries of the world including countries of the United States of America and the European Union.
